How to replace (saw) with ﷺ and many more! 1

We are obliged to reply with salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam upon hearing the name of the beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. However, we often shorten this to peace be upon him or the acronym of “saw”. I am also guilty of this myself.
After a bit of digging through the Windows Character Map I’ve come up with a list of Alt Keys to replace the common acronyms with the Arabic phrase as a symbol “ﷺ”.
This is a top tip for those writing blogs or articles.
If you go into Microsoft Word and type “fdfa” without the quotation marks and then press Alt+x (hold Alt and press the x letter key). It will transform it into Arabic for you.
Translation List:
ﷲ (Allah) – FDF2
ﷺ (salla llāhu ʿalayhi wa-alehe wa-sallam) – FDFA
ﷷﷵ (Alaihi’ salam) – FDF7 & FDF5

ﷱ (Qala) – FDF1
ﷳ‎ (Akbar) – FDF3
ﷻ (Jalla jalalouhou) – FDFB

There is no unicode symbol for the following terms (unless written with arabic font):

رضي الله عنه (Radhiallahu’ Anhu)
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِالرَّحِيْمِ (Bismillah hir-rahman-irraheem)
جزاك اللهُ خيرًا (Jazakallah Khayran)
بارك الله (Barakallah)
أهل البيت‎ (Ahl-ul-bayt)
عالمين (Aalameen)
الولاء والبراء (Al Wala’ Wal Bara’)
الحمد لله ربّ العالمين (Al-hamdu lillahi rabbil’ aalameen)
الحَمْد لله (Alhamdulilah
السلام عليكم (Assalaamu Alaykum)
دعوة (Da’wah)
دين (Deen)
فرض‎ (Fardh)

If you’d like to have access to the unicode symbols on your phone, you need to install an app that searches through the Unicode character map.

“Unicode Map” for Android phones is a good free app to access all the unicode symbols. Scroll down to Arabic Presentation Forms-A and then scroll down to the bottom of the list to find common terms such as ﷺ.

I’m sure IPhone’s will have something similar.

Comment if you have any more! I’ll add it to the list above.
